Funded by the Department of Energy and with matching private donors, the Clean Energy Showcase supported key goals of the City of San José Green Vision by educating consumers about clean energy solutions and resources for green collar workforce training. Viewed by over 6,500 individuals since opening in December, 2010, the Showcase provided increased knowledge on the availability of clean energy technologies to local, state, and international students, businesses, and interested individuals. Based on surveys conducted on visitor reactions, the Showcase has directly resulted in homeowners and businesses installing solar.
